Slow week at work which is fine by me. I'm having a lazy weekend ahead but I'm meeting up with some friends for some wine & cheese on Saturday night.

I remember when these same set of friends I have, when we were younger, we'd hit up bars every weekend. Now we're all about dinners and Netflix.

Oh yes, I was one of those who partied until 5AM. I would go home drunk but then I have a driver so it was fine. My mom is pretty cool about it and she was fine with it because it can get pretty stressful at work that time. I wasn't an alcoholic though, it was just my way of unwinding. I don't do that anymore and I'm just content with dinner & a coffee nowadays.

Me too. I'm much older now and prefer low key night outs. I remember me and my friends were eating at this restaurant and right on cue, by 9PM, they started playing really loud music and there was this table full of people younger than us who were really noisy. We were all looking at each other and kind of going like "Uh, we'll leave. Let's just do coffee elsewhere."

for me it was a lot fo things . A) i didnt have money (alcohol cost quite a bit of money) B ) my siblings weren't into that scene much either we rather spend with each other or friends C) when you know someone close to you who have drinking/gamberling or any excess addition you try to do the opposite

well ive been super busy at work these last 2 weeks were hoildays ober her but that soon will end than i will go back to normal work

That makes sense Petra Glad that things should be calming down for you at work soon.

My son is running a high fever so we're just hanging out at the house until his fever breaks. He runs so many fevers that I usually just give him ibuprofen but still do activities. But this fever got to 103.5 so we're staying home.
