Chibnall isn't going to retcon the Timeless Child origin for the Doctor for a couple of reasons:
1) It ties into two different eras of Classic Who (Tom Baker's Fourth and Sylvester McCoy's Seventh) 2) He'd been planning it since the day he signed on to replace Steven Moffatt as Showrunner I just finished watching both parts of "Spyfalll", and they both get the highest of A pluses from me for not only telling a really good story, but for also evoking the Saxon Master Trilogy (" Utopia"/"The Sound of Drums"/"Last of the Time Lords") and "World Enough and Time"/"The Doctor Falls". It also doesn't hurt that Chibnall makes better payoff decisions than RTD did with his first Master story and Moffatt did with his final Master story. The only negative thing is that I wish I hadn't already spoiled it for myself that 'O' was really the Master, but that's neither here nor there. __________________

My grade for "Orphan 55" is an A; the episode reminded me very much of the first Serial of Trial of a Timelord, "The Mysterious Planet" (which I really like), with strong influence from Jurassic Park and the Alien franchise as well.
It wasn't quite as good as Ed Hime's Freshman Doctor Who story, "It Takes You Away", but it was a very solid follow up to "Skyfall" (general consensus notwithstanding). __________________

I know that there's a section of the Whovian Universe that hates the Timeless Child/Timeless Children idea because it breaks the established narrative rules of the property, but I don't personally see why that's a bad thing.
I personally love the recontextualization of previously-established lore and history that has been kickstarted by Chris Chibnall's storytelling, and also can't wait to see where else he takes his two "prime" Doctors (Thirteen and Ruth) going forward and how he inevitably continues to link them and the Timeless Child story to what's come before. I'm also excited to watch/rewatch all of nuWho knowing that the history of the Timeless Child has been with the Doctor all along even though they and many of the people who pass in and out of their orbit are ignorant (consciously, at least) of it, and to judge their actions and the actions of other Time Lords through the lens of said history and the fact that said history was intentionally covered up. __________________

I'm almost done with a rewatch of Series 12, and I now wish I'd ranked several episodes higher than I originally did, specifically Orphan 55, Praxeus, Can You Hear Me?, and The Haunting of Villa Diodati, which gives Series 12 9 out of 11 A+ episodes and rightfully recognizes it as being better than Series 11, which it is.

So continuing my rewatch this season was a great season as a whole
Things that stood out that was great was Jack ( torchwood needs to come back ! ) , master ( I like the way he is portrayed) gallifrey is fun .. But it was a weak season .. didn't mind ryan and Graham leaving , wish Graham stayed but at least they didn't die __________________
