He knows how dangerous it is to travel with the Doctor and he even told him off for that!

He waited for 2000 years man it's cliche but hey it's the ultimate sacrifice and he did that which was just great and heartbreaking

I know- he has great moments when telling off the Doctor and/or being protective of Amy

Yeah they really are...

I love the Doctor/Amy/Rory/River team though- I think those are the strongest episodes...

I haven't seen the other team tardises so can't really say any best for now but
I love Eleven's gang so much tho - especially in the Christmas Special the Doctor had a family to go to.

I love Rory separately. I love his awkward cuteness. I love how he would do anything and everything for the people he loves. I love that despite his insecurities, he has developed into this strong character. I genuinely like Rory/Amy since I respect canon couples but I just can't help loving all the "what could have been's" between the Doctor and Amy. I have sort of accepted it now though - bestfriends and all but not as in-laws.
