That's probably why they toyed with the idea of killing off Rory because Amy is more the companion of the Doctor than Rory. He was only there because of Amy.

But I guess they couldn't do it and Amy would be scarred emotionally if that happened. She might even blame the Doctor for Rory's death.

True. It's fun but it stops being fun when it gets dangerous and time-travelling can be dangerous.

That's what I thought too when I was new to DW "Oooihhh time-travelling is fun!" But S4 traumatized me, I couldn't even more on to S5 for a while.

Yep it does , I watched it for time travel history scifi is cool but it has a darkness to it for sure
