Good question. Probably not. I think they'd break-up early on but will realize (from their time apart) that they miss each other and will get back together.

I hope that they would have stayed together without the Doctor but I don't think they would have. I think that Amy would have never appreciated Rory without their adventures with the Doctor.

That's why I think the ep "Amy's Choice" sealed it for me with these two. Amy in the dream can't imagine living a life without Rory.

I hate the fact that Amy had a 'crush' on the Doctor and kissed him! I was like "they're not doing this again for S5" after the whole thing with Rose & Martha. I'm glad after "Amy's Choice", that ep really sealed it for me with these two.
