I'm too excited lol. I doubt he'd be the type who'd do the stage door thing but I'd really love it if he did. If I got to meet him, I think I'd probably regenerate
Ooh and I get to see Gillian Anderson as well so it's going to be great

From someone at Outpost Gallifrey, who went to the show:

Quote:
Nadir observed Eccleston signing autographs- signing everything put in front of him-including DW stuff. At one point, a tourist family with kids came forward, and Nadir overheard Chris asking the kids "Do you want me to sign as The Doctor?"
My love for this man has increased even more So much for him distancing himself from his role as the Doctor.

I think Chris has always valued his role as the Doctor, he has said that he'll always treasure the reactions he gets from kids because of that role I think the issues he had possibly was from behind the scenes, maybe not the actual role Whatever the case, Chris will always be my Doctor

Mine too.

I'm ok with him not 'loving' the role/job. He did a great job, what more can we ask for.

I agree. I'm not bothered that he didn't really enjoy the job etc. I can certainly understand why. I do hate it when people speculate why he hated it and then slag him off saying thank god David Tennant took over. That just annoys me.

I'm with you. Even if you like what you do, you simply can't love every job. Which doesn't mean you're not good at it. And Chris doesn't get good roles and money for not being good.

I like David Tennant, he is a great actor and seems to be a very friendly and nice person. But very different from Chris, David can deal with all the attention from the media and to a certain degree to enjoy it. While Chris seemed to not like it, not everyone can and wants to deal with it.

Oh I love David He is certainly a good actor and definitely knows how to deal with the fame/media attention. He is a favourite of mine but Chris is my number one

I agree, I definitely don't think everyone can deal with the media attention and I do hate how people just expect you to. Some don't get Chris's shyness but for me, it's a breath of fresh air because I'm kind of sick of celebrities who cannot stand not to be in the limelight for one minute.

Yes, you're allowed to be an actor/actress without wanting to be in the spotlight. Chris doesn't like it, so he lives a life outside of it. Good for him.

I don't really understand that we have people who are famous for being famous, like Paris Hilton.
