That is true! I do think Arthur is probably the most neglected in the group, purely cos Matt and Karen had more time to forge a relationship in Season 5...

Haven't known of the press events with the other stars of the older who's but I'd like to think the attention's centered around the Doctor and the main female companion?

For what I've seen yes, in press conferences is pretty much always about the Doctor and the femaile companions, so it is normal for Arthur and Alex to get less attention.

And they do seem much closer now, it is as you said, they have shared much more time together now with Arthur, so they are much closer now.
