I heard about those rumors early on before S10 even premiered but I refused to believe it.

^ I would love that. Like with Billie Piper although we'll probably get Billy in flashbacks since she's in another world/realm (like Clara).

That's true. If the storyline is lacking then those episodes can also be a big let down.
