I think it's because Chris has been single for the longest time so now that he's finally dating, fans have "opinions" about it. I like Alba and I know people are gonna squirm at the age gap but still, it's none of our business and that's his personal life.

Yeah as a fan they need to be respectful to but it is werid but happiness is all that matters

Oh trust me, I know all about toxicity in fandoms. I like a certain KPop group and my goodness, the fandom is nuts especially when it comes to their personal lives.

I'd rather steer clear of that because it is so damn toxic. It's also because of the celebrity culture in SK which is different from the rest of the world. Anytime a male or a female celeb (who is single) interacts there, rumors fly right away. The fans make it their business to interfere with the celeb's personal life and that's not okay.

He's also in the right age to date and get married. And whoever he ends up with, fans will either not support or support the relationship. It's the sad state of celebs.
