I just rewatched Bill's final stories - World Enough and Time and The Doctor Falls - and this time around I found myself finding the decision to show Cyber-Bill as human-Bill pointless and wishing that she hadn't been turned into a Puddle Entity but instead stayed Cyberized and went off with the other Puddle Entity in that form (her Cyberman body).

you didnt like her as a cyberman? i found that so weird in general

Let me clarify.

1) I don't think there was any reason to show Pearl Mackie onscreen in The Doctor Falls at all. Having her appear as a human when we already knew she'd been Cyberized was silly and served no purpose narratively.

If you did have to show Pearl Mackie onscreen because of contractual rules, the better choice would have been to have had it happen at the end of the episode (see below for more).

2) I think the better ending to her story would have been the Puddle Entity showing up to find her, but her (Bill) remaining Cyberized and going off to travel the universe in her Mondasian shell. That's also, as noted, where I would've waited to let the audience see Pearl Mackie onscreen for the first time in the episode by letting the audience see human Bill only through the Puddle Entity's POV.
