My timezone doesn't work so well for everyone though.
 But I'll bump up the old threads when I start my S2 re-watch soon. S9 was my favorite season for these two but mostly because it was also the last season we see Clara. __________________

I know when I re-watched S1 my opinion did change. Some episodes that I didn't care for, I actually kind of liked the second time viewing it. I remember not liking Mickey a lot but after re-watching S1, I had more sympathy towards him.
 That Clara exit was just so sad to watch, especially that diner scene. OMG.  __________________

I've rewatched every episode but that episode I can't, it's just so heartbreaking
 ^I actually felt the same, I've never really enjoyed series 1 but I saw "Rose" and "The end of the world" the other day and I liked it a lot more than I thought I would  __________________

He was not helped by the script and I don't think his character worked particularly well with Nine

Yeah S1 is my least favorite too. I also didn't like Christopher as the Doctor so much but I do like his dynamic with Billie. There were some good eps but S2 is much better than S1.

The 9th Doctor is definitely my least favorite of all the new series Doctors.
But sometimes I wonder if I would have liked him more if he had gotten to be around for more seasons. Sometimes it takes awhile to get used to a new Doctor and move from the like to the love phase. |
