Thank you Katka! I'm growing more and more impatient to read it every day.

Alright. I am going to out myself now.

My parents are in the book business and through some connections to Random House, I was given access to a review copy of Lauren's book.

Now, I am an avid reader and books have ( obviously) always been a part of my life. But never have I been more engaged in reading a book as I was turning each page of Lauren's. It took me a good 4 days to read, not because I am a slow reader, but I savored each word. I knew she took the time to construct that sentence the way she wanted to - or put in that word that nobody else would have thought of. I wanted to get EVERY word and if that meant going back and rereading a sentence just to see if she wrote "cool" or "awesome", I did that.

And let me tell you, you are all going to be blown away. There's not much that I can add to what Valentine wrote perfectly in the other thread but she's right. The book IS perfect. And it's so perfect in fact that when you all get your hands on a copy, you may forget that it was LAUREN who wrote it. I was so infatuated with it and focused on it ( and also in a little bit of disbelief that I was already reading it) that I forgot who the author was. Instead, I focused on the protagonist and followed Franny's story. I laughed with her, I cried with her, ( yes I know I am a walking cliche right now) but the way Lauren develops her protagonist, you can't help but want to know what happens on the next page.

I can't wait for you all to read it. I know you will be blown away and you will want to read it again and again as Mae said.

So excited to read this book! It's just a shame a very slow reader, and you all would have read it twice before i've finished!

Thank you for all of the new reviews. I can't wait to read it myself. It seems like April 30th is a life time away and not just over three months away.

That is so awesome that you were able to read the book already, Sarah. I am so jealous but excited for you, too.

So yeah, I was lucky enough to be able to read the book as well. And I can second what Valentine and Sarah wrote. The book is so well written and has so many layers and plots happening that you can't really take a breath. I tend to be a fast reader, flying over the text but with Lauren's book I tried to savor every word knowing that she put at least two years of work into it. You can tell she put a lot of thought and work into it, it's entertaining and a rollercoaster of emotions when you follow Franny's life. And for the first time really I thought about how much will power it takes to try to be an actor when you're starting the business. So kudos to everyone trying. So yeah, Lauren did a fantastic job especially considering that it is her first book. I can't wait for you all to read it.

Oh and Someday, Someday, Maybe fits so much better as a title than Faster, Funnier, Louder. I'm glad they changed it. And the book cover fits perfectly to the context.

Thank you for the additional, personal reviews Sarah and Ele, you lucky girls!

Ele, happy to hear you find the title fitting. I liked it better than the other from the beginning. Is it a phrase a character says in the book? If you can say

I really hope Lauren's debut book gets rave reviews and makes some best selling lists - help her decide to write more.

Both titles are mentioned in the book but I can't really reveal more.

That's so true, Ele. I can't imagine the book being called anything else now. It's just so perfect. SO glad you got to read it!

It's what she wants, too - In her Washington Flyer interview she definitely alludes to a book sequel, as well as turning the book into a tv series. Too bad she's not young enough to play Franny.

*raises hand* Can I be considered for the role?? I am a brunette struggling actress with unmanageable hair!

Although I'm about 7 inches too short if we're going with Lauren's height.

ANYWAY, this book would make an amazing tv show or movie.
