...crap.

Claireem86 02-27-2011 07:09 AM

If people had any sense (or even class) they would ignore this clearly unstable guy. He needs help, ABC is exploiting him just as much as he's trashing them - it's not something that I would care to watch.

I'd like to think that it won't affect the ratings too much, but if it does - at least there's a reason that the network would have to acknowledge, it's not just that people aren't tuning in.

Ugh, I hate that crappy show and that guy

I don't know many people who care to listen to or watch an interview with Charlie Sheen...it screwed his career. Who wants to hear him try to explain how his gets drunk and stoned and sleeps around anyway. I don't even watch his show anymore.

I have to admit, I'm tempted to watch it. It's like watching an accident or something, I can't look away. What I find funny is that he is doing the interview on ABC. CBS will love that lol.

I don't think it will affect the ratings too much though.

I really hope it won't. It's like Britney shaving her head, yeah the guy is a douche, but he's also dramatically unstable, it's time for the public to look away and for someone in his real life (if he has such a thing) to step up - I just don't find it entertaining at all :(

This is exactly the sort of thing that makes me cringe to my very core, it's a sad situation all round :(

lgfan 02-27-2011 08:52 AM

I too admit that I am curious and will probably dvr it.

RachelRambles 02-27-2011 09:51 AM

Ughh boo, seriously this guy is annoying me, im not sure what it will do for the ratings :/

auntbee 02-27-2011 10:48 AM

I've never watched the Men show and have absolutely no desire to watch Crazy Charlie explain why he's wonderful and everyone else is crap.

I will be happily watching Parenthood and enjoying every minute of it.

Great that PH is on The Hollywood Reporter's TV critic's list!

Ugh. Mel Gibson, Tom Cruise and now Charlie Sheen? Sorry, I think I just vomited in my mouth. An episode of PH will be a welcomed respite from that pile of crap!

I agree 100% Claire. It's just really sad, and I wish people would stop giving him public forums for him to dig himself in further. He's got family, and I wonder if at this point they're responding with tough love, since nothing else has worked.

On to the show: I could be wrong, but I suspect there may not be a lot of overlap between Parenthood watchers and TaaHM watchers or sensationalist television watchers (aside from a handful of curious folks). Given that, I'm not really expecting a big dip in PH's ratings no matter how well the ABC show does.

We shall see.

So many actors are really getting on my 'will never watch again' list and Sheen is the newest idiot on it. I have no desire to watch it and will proudly be watching and DVRing "Parenthood" that night. Unfortunately, I really do think that a lot of people will be watching it because of the train wreck aspect to it. That really makes me feel sad for what the ratings will be for ""Parenthood" that night. I did think that "The Good Wife" would really kill "Parenthood" last week because America Ferrera (sp) was on it, but look how that turned out. I hope that I am proven wrong once again.

Thanks to everyone for all of the new info.

I'm not a fan right now and wondering if his show will be canceled all together (great news for Melissa McCarthy in Mike & Molly) but use not very good for this weeks ratings. I guess NBC will take that into account if they drop before the break.

SarahJ5941 02-27-2011 03:16 PM

Okay, here's a dumb question. Where is a good place to find screencaps for Parenthood? I know they are out there and I did find one but when I print them out they are fuzzy and I know it's not my printer. Rigth now I mainly want the pics of Sarah and Zeek from "Come Home".
