Hi everyone!!!!!!!!! More detailed post later, because I am starving! I am in the lobby of my hotel and Claire just left . . .
- but we had fun. Some quick things . . . *Heh, I don't know about that tweet - but Claire and I were outside the theater a good hour before the show and we didn't see Lauren rush in. However, we did see Steve Rosen pull up in a cab - and he had a big rolling suitcase and we were wondering if it was to empty out his dressing room. *Lauren totally walked out to do stagedoor with the flowers we gave her in her hands. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*Larry Graham was there! All by himself. To support his daughter. I sat in the same row as him (except he was center and I was in the right) so I kept watching him during the show. He laughed, smiled, and clapped a lot! It very much comforted me that he was there ( ) so I imagine it had the same effect on Lauren. *(Mostly) standing ovation for "Sit Down Your Rocking the Boat"!!! And at the end of the show standing ovation started with the orchestra and the people just kept cheering and clapping and cheering and clapping. *Right now the cast is at a private party at Bar 41 . . . their usual hangout! *It wasn't as sad as I thought it would be, honestly last night was sadder. That being said, I did tear up twice. I think I feel better knowing they're all celebrating together right now. *Stagedoor was a pretty normal stagedoor except uber crowded. I have some pretty pics from it and Claire has some video! So that's coming. *Claire is completely awesome!!! Having this experience with her made it so much better. More to come as I remember stuff - but that should get you started! __________________

Aw! glad you two had a nice time and it wasn't so sad!
Good to know her dad was there! and I was thinking that she would go out to do stagedoor with the flowers! she couldn't leave them in her dressing room. lol Hope they have a great time celebrating tonight, they all deserve the best. Can't wait to see the pics and vids! |
