There was a GG marathon on UP TV today. I watched a few episodes, and the last one they showed was the finale.

It had been quite a while since I'd seen it, and I was surprised how emotional it made me, to see them all saying goodbye, not actually realizing it was the series finale, and not just a season finale. And having Richard tell Lorelai what a good job she'd done.

I am so ready for this new series. GG, and especially Luke & Lorelai were such a big part of my life and my happiness for quite a while. I was not ready to say goodbye, even if S6 & 7 were not the best.

Same!

Listening to Scotts podcast, it seem they may show, all the episodes at once.

I hope it's on my day off, when it comes onto Netflix....Otherwise, I predict a sick day! Lol

He also talked about, how this revival might not be the end. Hinting, at maybe more episodes? But, I am not holding out on that one.

Interesting, thanks for the info! It wouldn't be surprising for Netflix to follow their traditional format and air them all at once, and I will definitely plan a binge-watching day/weekend for that. :D

I guess they would discuss the possibility of more episodes based on how this 'mini-season' does.

Oh, Ausiello.

I kind of feel he wasn't really there to promote GG, but himself. It was a decent interview, but he pretty much hinted about his own projects, even though he couldn't give too many specifics.

And his hints about GG are pretty much the same ones that Amy and Lauren gave, that the ending is kind of left open.

Interesting!!! I would defenetly take a day to watch all episodes! I'm a #NotNetflixUser but I watched fuller house well ok the first 3 episodes but anyway I'm glad that I don't being pressured to have netflix. And I'll defenetly take some #NoSpoiler Time including No Twitter! Yap hard times are coming. But I'm sure it's worth to wait

Kizzy81 05-11-2016 10:29 PM

I must admit, I thought the BIG announced was going to be Gilmore Girls related. But it was just about his own project.

That picture and tweet killed me. They both look like they've been crying. Can't believe it's done.

I agree. I think they were surprised at how much coverage the revival got. We'll see... it took us 9 years to have 4 extra episodes, so I'm not holding my breath.
