Lauren is filming a new movie. Its called Evan almighty.. its a follow up to the movie Bruce Almighty with Jim Carrey. She will play the wife of Evan.

Premise: Steve Carell (The 40 Year Old Virgin) reprising his role as the polished, preening newscaster Evan Baxter of Bruce Almighty, is the next one anointed by God to accomplish a holy mission in the hilarious new comedy Evan Almighty. Blockbuster comedy director Tom Shadyac (The Nutty Professor, Liar Liar, Bruce Almighty) returns behind the camera for this next episode of divine intervention. This time, however, his cast grows two-by-two.

Newly elected to Congress, Evan leaves Buffalo behind and shepherds his family to suburban northern Virginia. Once there, his life gets turned upside-down when God (Morgan Freeman) appears and mysteriously commands him to build an ark. But his befuddled family just can't decide whether Evan is having an extraordinary mid-life crisis or is truly onto something of Biblical proportions...

Sorry, I don't get it. that's Genesis, yeah it's Christian but it's history so why should people not know about Noah and his ark? I mean you don't need to know when and where he lived and what he did and such stuff to understand the movie.

And too bad about the movie in Japan, I guess we won't have much more in the media here for another month. It will be interesting to see how they promote it, too bad it's not until Sept and Steve will be busy with the new season of The Office. But who knows maybe that will lead the way for Lauren to come over

Well-I wouldn´t necessarily say Genesis is history....but I agree that it is a strange reason not to show the movie.
@Craig: you wishIf she didn´t show up in Europe to promote it....I´ll keep my fingers crossed for you

Well we can hope someone shows up, I'm just a little annoyed that a number of other movies have their stars coming over to promote and releasing movies at the same time as the US but what is being billed as the BIGGEST COMEDY EVER is being let down by lousy promotion, are these the same guys that do promotions for the CW

Okay, took me long enough but here's the RTL Special which aired on Saturday. It's in German but you can hear the original voices from time to time.

We've already seen most of the stuff but there are a few additional scenes we haven't seen before like behind the scenes material from the Lauren - Morgan diner scene, a scene where Lauren explains how close she was to Morgan and a scene where she can be seen in the background while Steve and Morgan are dancing. It's 20 minutes overall.
