I don't know if the do or not. I just assumed they did because most show writers do. But it's possible that they do not.

I don't think people should go after the writers. There is nothing wrong with expressing an opinion but going after them is not right.

I think she means put them back together again. In the same scene or as friends or as more? They had very few scenes in the series.
