Watched this on tv a couple of weeks ago. Forgot how much I enjoyed the story. I thought Hayden did a wonderful, convincing job showing the growth of the character over the course of the movie.

That stuff was just a mask to hide behind. Once he started loving himself he didn't need all that. He came out of his shell.
