When Lucas did a screen test of Christensen and Portman, he had them read scenes that hinted at the passionate quality of the relationship between Anakin and Padme. An insider who saw he test said, "Watching it, you could feel the elecricity between Hayden and Natalie. That didn't happen with the other guys who tested." thats so sweet and touching.... but then that reminds us that they may never were a couple... but that was in 2002. still, hayden is such a sweet caring guy... and natalie's still brushing him off... but it'll take time

I think Hayden is the most caring and polite actor ever!!!!! We can see at his words and in his face that he loves Natalie...even if she doesn´t show the same....

I totally agree Lindz! That piccy you put up of Levi is another example of how little chemistry there is between him and Nat! They are always far away from each other no sign of any affection ever!!! (This is good though, keep it up levo! Soon Hayden will get his girl!).

I mean no offence to the guy but I jst don't see it and I'm saying this without being biased either!

I know you can. On the behind the scenes of AOTC I think they showed a bit of their screen test I'm not sure. But right away he was mesmorized by her. She has to be wearing blinders because how can she not see how much he cares about her. The least they could do is TRY a relationship and see where it goes. Since their so much alike We know where it could go and I'll bet it would be a beautiful and heartfelt wedding. Dare to dream, huh?

The romantic scenes were more of a challenge. Preparation for the fighting scenes took some time. He is obviously very passionate but there obviously needs to be some sort of a menacing look behind it.

There are rumors that you wanted multiple takes of the romantic scenes. Is that true?
