I just really not an Ashton Fan... kendra would have been better in my opinion.

Oh and Kasey rocks so much. I love that man.

Still think Stefano Sucks. They so made the wrong save there too.

Paul remains my favorite, but a couple of the others are growing on me as well :lol:

I loved Pia's performance. She has such a great voice.

My favorites are Lauren and Scotty... also like Pia and Thia...

About the performances, the only ones I liked from top 13 were Scotty and Pia... the rest was pretty sleepy :yawn:

OK, Haley, Stephano and Ashton ... not so much Top 13 material :look: Naima kept going on about making the song her own and changing it up and her version ended up being a weaker version of the original.

My favourites for now are still Lauren and Pia. James and Scotty are growing on though.

Not surprised by the elimination... it was kinda predictable :lol:
On a side note, I love the song Diddy sang, but he sucks live :lol: The best part for me was seeing Skylar Grey performing with him, she's super talented! :love:

Love Paul. Love Casey. I don't have any expectations of them winning, though. But they're really the only reason why I watch the show. And I'm just beginning to like Thia. :)

Yeah Haley is my least favorite out of the contestants.

So glad Ashton is out, I never really got what the judges like about her :look: She wasn't all bad during Hollywood but Top 24 and Top 13 performances weren't standouts at all. And yeah, Haley should be next although Stephano isn't that good either.

I really like Haley actually! Her voice is so different, the only problem is I can hardly understand what she's saying when she's singing :lol:
There's quite a few good guys that I love; Casey and Paul definitely! :P

I hated Haley during hollywood week because I couldnt understand a single word she was singing :look: I sorta liked her voice in the top 24 but then again in top 13 she was boring :look:

I dislike Ashton and I dislike Stefano and I dont know what the judges see thats so special about them, Im gonna be bitter for a loooong time about the fact that Clint and Brett got cut while Stefano and Jovanny got a second chance to sing and well Stefano actually made it through :pout:

I love Naima, shes cute and I like the way she dresses and I liked that she picked Rihanna for an idol, I was a bit bored by them picking Celine Dion and all those predictable names, Id have liked to hear her sing Unfaithful or something like that instead of attempting and failing to do Umbrella, or at least she should have done a slower version of it? :look: anyways, didnt like, certainly interesting but not good for a singing show :look:

ones I liked: James :D Scotty (always puts a smile on my face) Paul (again, has me smiling like a fool) Casey, Jacob (yeah all guys :lol:) :D

I .... dont get whats so special about Pia? :look: shes got a strong voice but its not anything special, its not anything we havent seen before, and its just, ... not standing ovation material :look: plus I dont think she has a personality :pout:

oh and also Lauren, I love Lauren but her version of the song paled in comparison to Siobhans last year, didnt even come close to measuring up and I just couldnt help but compare :look:

Ok, it's been ages since this and some time when I watched it too but since Ray sorta prompted me in the TPAM thread and before I watch the top 12 episode... :lol:

Over all I really liked the top 13 performances. I'm impressed at the talent and variety this year. I found all the country performances (Lauren, Haley, Scotty) really, really good although I'm not a country fan. But they were great performances and vocals. I thought my favorites from the top 24 night (James, Casey, Jacob) tried maybe a little bit too hard. But they were still pretty good (and especially I found Casey's performance better after watching it again).

Ashton and Karen were totally underwhelming and sleepy to me. I suppose Thia too. I'm not finding Stefano very special, I don't like his mannerisms. Pia is technically really great but I'm missing a little bit more personality from her and others than ballads. Paul is quirky and special, an acquired taste for sure. :lol: He did well though.

The one performance I actually enjoyed most as a music listener was Naima's. I don't think she failed with Umbrella at all. It was a great choice for her and I really dug the reggae part! Way cool. (And at least Umbrella is singable unlike that god-awful Only Girl that's bound to make you sound like an off-key shouter no matter what :P).

Loved seeing and listening Adam on the results show. :love: His lower register is to die for. :sigh: Also loved hearing a snippet of Cookie's DYFAM on TV. :D Ashton was the right person to be sent home, other one would have been Karen. Haley shouldn't have been in the bottom 3. BTW, isn't Ryan kinda really a jerk about the eliminations this year? I mean, more than usual. :look:

I'm glad I'm not the only one who enjoyed Naima that night. And I even enjoyed Adam's performance XD Which ya know... only happens every so often :rotfl:
