I just got interested because of the title and promo picture, that little tidbit now makes me definitely want to check it out.

So I finished the show. I thought the show was really good! Mostly happy with it. They could have shaved off two episodes (the show felt long when it didn’t need to be) and it ended on a massive, stupid cliffhanger though. I hate when they do this because what if there isn’t a second season? The show looks expensive to make and it doesn’t seem to be popular or as loved in the way Haunting of Hill House, Stranger Things, or Sabrina was so a second season isn’t guaranteed here at all. I don’t know if you’ll like the show. It seems to bring a a love it or hate it reaction. I liked it though.

It is going fine! Thanks for asking. I actually did better in Anatomy I than I thought I would, got a B. I am still struggling with studying for the second part but it’s easier now because my course load it not as full. I was taking too much last time which was not a good idea.

Weekend was good, got some shopping and visit done yesterday, and had a super lazy Sunday, which was good. How was yours?

Glad you enjoyed the show! Yeah some shows do seem to have "filler" or "slow" episodes, but good to hear that overall you enjoyed it. That's too bad about the cliffhanger though! It would have been smarter to factor in the possibility of it not being renewed, but hopefully it does.

It's great things worked out with that course, and good luck with the rest of it. Having less to deal with is always better :nod:

It does :nod: And yeah probably, I usually don't have plans on Sundays so it's always a good day for some relaxing before the new week starts again.

Hope it does get renewed. I watch too many TV shows :lol: Pretty much all the superhero shows on the CW (Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, Black Lightning), a couple of good dramas (This Is Us, A Million Little Things, HTGAWM), some sci-fi (Supernatural, Manifest, The Walking Dead) ... to name a few. I like keeping busy with those and it's a way to just pass the time and unwind. And on weekends, I watch a couple of movies that look interesting.

Thanks for sharing what you've been watching! I love This Is Us a lot, I'm glad I was able to catch up on that show with the NBC app. I just got into it recently. I've watched all the seasons of Supergirl on Netflix. I'm struggling with The Walking Dead with so many characters gone and with how long it's been going for but I haven't given up on it yet. I still check out an episode here and there.

I don't follow too many shows but there is a new show that I've gotten into recently called Good Girls. It's entertaining, on NBC.

This Is Us is amazing :love: That's great you were able to catch up! And I'm actually right there with you about The Walking Dead, it was hard when the show lost the people we liked one by one, but it was really the last straw with Rick. I do have a hard time giving up on my shows, so I'm sticking it out for now.

Thank you! It’s the former, it’s a permanent position at the department I spent the last 8 months (September-April) if you remember. But I’m getting increasingly pessimistic about my chances... :lol:

I have a work function on Tuesday so got something to wear yesterday. I am not usually into big social events so pretty much just waiting for it to be over xD

It’s because I’ve heard rumors there were some really strong applicants and the fact they’re interviewing 6 in total really worries me. I just can’t believe I could be the most competent since I’ve never managed to get those specialist positions thus I lack formal experience. But thanks for the support. :hug: (I also don’t think there will be any other chances for me... :lol:)

Not very short at all. Well, they had the last interviews on Wednesday afternoon and yesterday was a national holiday here so I may hear about it today if they’re quick or next week at the latest. I’ve been trying to brace myself for the bad news but I know there’s still a stupid little part of me that’s hopeful. xD Thank you, I thought so too but I guess I have to accept the fact that I’m not good enough for them and stop wasting my life after almost a decade and put all my effort into finding something somewhere else. :P

Thank you. :hug: They actually aren’t as high because I was talking with a collegue of mine who pointed out some things due to which the decision will probably take a bit longer than I originally thought (like from a couple of weeks up to a month after the last round of interviews), so I decided not to panic for the time being. :lol:

I mean it’s nice to do something special on a weekend too, but I always feel like I didn’t get to properly relax if I have too much to do. xD :lol:

It was! We sang and danced the whole show and so did almost everyone else so the atmosphere was amazing. :D Really loved it and we had such a great trip with my sisters too. :D

Well, the wait is over. I didn’t get it. What else is new? I am just so fing tired. I just can’t catch a break. I mean I have a fing master’s degree. I’m smart and quick to learn. But I’m just been working in such a niche field at a job I’m over qualified for too many fing years (like 8 years too long - I’ve been there for 9 years :P). And now I’m stuck in a dead end job, apparently I just don’t have enough experience for anything else. :blank: I guess I just have to accept that I’m just mediocre. And I fing need to get out of there. :no:
