Well, I got Candace's CD in the mail! I actually like it a lot. Her voice really is amazing! Although I would like to have heard a little more variety of songs, I am thoroughly enjoying the songs on the CD. I like a song called "Damn" a lot. Shows off Candace's voice well.

My husband's comment about Candace's album was "She doesn't do a lot of vocal gymnastics and I like that." He doesn't like pop music much anymore -- kind of lives in the 70s and 80s (also listens to classical and jazz a lot). I have to admit that I like the pop music of the 80s much more than what's out now. I didn't listen to much in the 70s except for The Carpenters and one Chicago album. LOL!

I don't listen to it quite as much (except lately on that radio channel that airs 80's at 8 show xD) but I do enjoy it

So that's cool your husband likes Candice's album because of that.

We'll see. I'll have to ask him if he really liked it or if he was just commenting on her singing. We don't listen to the same music and I was just lucky he was driving my car that day, so I put my iPod on.
