Finally got the chance to watch the premiere. Like earlier seasons, it was more about the stories. The talent was okay but I'm guessing they're keeping the better ones for later episodes. A couple of my favourites:
Grace Kinstler Nia Renee Benson Boone and Jason Warrior were good too. |

Saw a random commercial and is this the first season for Lionel Richie?
 am guilty of not watchingNevermind seems he's been a coaching for awhile  just revisited the standard avatars I remembered making last round about of updating  __________________

Second episode was also okay, didn't see many that stood out. I really liked Cassandra Coleman though, her song choice too:
The third one actually picked up! Several talented contestants showed up, some with raw talent and some seemingly a bit more seasoned. Mary Jo Young Hunter Metts Also liked Alanis Sophia. |

Hollywood week episodes already aired but I just caught up on the last two audition episodes.
There were some interesting contestants in them, will be interesting to see how my favourites in the auditions faired in Hollywood. Beane, he has a musical theater style in singing which is pretty cool. Kind of reminds me of Clark Beckham. Probably one of my top favourites so far. Also enjoyed Heather Russell's audition, cool rendition of a Katy song. A good singer, but would sound better if she reigns in the runs she does. Another good one was Andrea Valles Will see if I'm able to catch up on the Hollywood round episodes over the weekend. |

I really had hopes for Willie to be the next Idol but I'm not surprised Chase took the win

I would have been fine with either Grace or Willie. They were both powerhouses and did amazing in every single performance. I loved their duet on the Finneas song.
Grace (along with Beane) were my favourites from the start. It was a bummer Beane didn't stick around for longer. |
