Doctor's appointment yesterday - cardiologist.
 They didn't find anything...  But, at least it was an outing.  Indy The eclipse path goes right over your house, doesn't it?    No need to fight for a parking spot somewhere!  __________________

Yes, we are right in the path of totality. All area schools will be closed.
All available hotels, motels, and camping spots are booked. They are expecting thousands in the area. And you're right, Reggie, I will stay put and watch in my own back yard. |

Happy Easter everyone!
I remember the Solar Eclipse in 2017 it was packed. I went with friends to a rooftop party in New York. It was a lot of fun.It was an amazing experience. Please be careful DO NOT look at the sun and make sure you have the proper Eclipse glasses. Protect those eyes! This time we are closer. Please be safe. __________________

Today driving down Main street, it rained, sowed, had some sleet, and then the sun came out. Must be early spring in Indiana!

Update: It snowed overnight, and it did lay. It melted pretty early in the morning.
Then it snowed again... and laid, again. And melted, eventually.  Also: EARTHQUAKE ! ... which I didn't feel. #FOMO __________________

I totally felt the earthquake in NY. It felt like a plane going over my house.
I also felt the aftershock in the evening as well. I was in a 5.8 when I was visiting California back in 2008. It was so scary. So this was nothing compared to that. It was an exciting way to start a Friday! I remember the earthquake in 2011. That was a small tremor compared to this. Hope you are all safe!  __________________

No earthquakes here. It is Eclipse Day, so schools are closed.
The weather is cooperating: sunny and 70 degrees today. |

The eclipse was great! We had a flash of red under the moon, like a solar flare. It was neat that Venus and Jupiter were very bright on either side of the moon.

Wow that sounds amazing!
I got to see some of it as well. We were 90% in the path way. It was so beautiful to see. a little cloudy but over all a great experience! I love science and I remember how wonderful the Solar Eclipse was in 2017. It was so beautiful to witness the event again! I would love to be in the path of totality just once to see what you saw! __________________
