OTOs Joss Wheedon did good.  I just saw “Serenity.” I think both fans of "Firefly" and newbies (like me) will be pleased. There is plenty of background exposition so that we newbies don’t feel lost, but it’s not done in a way that would annoy or talk down to long-term fans. My very favorite line in the movie is spoken by Kaylee ……something about nethers and batteries.   LT, thanks for the new thread. Your title is perfect! BBL after I catch up. PS I wish we could have a Roswell movie.   __________________

 I  d Serenity!  No surprise there. Any scifi fan should enjoy it. There are plenty of  moments and some as well. I think Spam mentioned wanting to take his son. There's probably a little more violence than the series had, but not any more than a lot of stuff on TV. The only bare skin is 2 of the guys. There's the line that Tek mentioned.  That was a good one! But I didn't see anything that should keep you from taking your son. We took 10 yr. old Boy2 with us and he liked the movie. PM or email me if you have any questions. I want to see Serenity too. I might go on Tuesday to see it...my day off. I work too much until my days off to do anything else.  Sleepy from last night still. My team is 4-0!!  And the Gators lost!  __________________
