It's a shame, because the fan interest is definitely there, but Netflix has been so dumb and self-involved that they don't pay attention to the outcry from people who have been wanting B+T to happen for years now. Majandra said she had this idea for her and Brendan even before the Cast Reunion 4 years ago. It's something they are both very passionate about and determined that it should happen. They need to approach a network who is actually respectful of intelligent projects.

I love that they know each other so well that Majandra knows Brendan's passion for Directing and he knows how much she loves Writing. The magic is still there between them even though they're not romantically involved anymore and they would make a great team

Oh and I am a die hard Dreamer and I refuse to watch reboot! Plus even more now if there is no Candy then what is the point.

The Candies were the glue for Max and Liz! It's like saying how Han couldn't be with Leah or Louis with Clark.

Somethings are meant to be! The Candies were Roswell with out them it would of been such a differnet show!

I agree with you both

You cannot replace Jason, Shiri, Brendan and Majandra

Even now with all these years gone by, Brendan and Majandra still socially interact as if no time has passed at all.

I'm still baffled as to why the network will pick up a reboot of a show that was already perfect, but they won't respond to the call for Baron + Toluca to get moving

I know nerworks are crazy! You have an original story like B&T but they decided to do a remake its nuts.

Hopefully this reboot aka NEW show will not get picked up!

I want B&T even more now!

especially considering Brendan and Majandra's enthusiasm for B+T. They worked so hard on it and have waited so long for news about it.

Compare that to the Roswell reboot, which nobody (as far as I know) wanted.

When people on social media heard about a reboot, they immediately started tweeting the original cast "when are you coming back for this?"

That's the thing. People don't want to see new people in this, playing characters who were already perfectly portrayed by the original cast. They expect to see the originals in it, and they'll be disappointed.
