Me too! Jim became one of my favorite characters! I cried at the ending when he hugged them all goodbye!

He became one of mine too, & he definitely gave me some tearjerker moments. His goodbye with Kyle in the final episode broke my heart

Given how it started for Jim as a character. He was really shown as a "villian", but he eventually started to see that the kids were being unfairly targeted for being who they were, different. And with the added backstory of what happened with his father. He really did became a favorite character. And an ally they needed.
Even though he did suffer from what he knew, and what he could not say. I like to think he eventually became Sheriff again. It's always funny to see him in other projects. Because of Roswell. Seeing him in Shawshank Redemption or in other television roles. __________________

It did give Jim more to do in a way, instead of being the villain, and hated for treating the kids like he was. Thankfully he started to have second thoughts, and after Pierce struck and Kyle almost died. Jim was in their corner now.
Even though it did impact on his job, and his and Kyle's homelife. I like to think he eventually made it back to being Sheriff. __________________

It was much more enjoyable. And you felt for Kyle to see that his father was go in the direction that Jim had dealt with his own father, and thankfully Jim saw it in time and he did not sacrifice his relationship with his son.

Yes I love how no matter what Kyle was his first priority!
I also love how we saw the dynamic with Jim and his father. It was so painful for him to see his father in that state but he loved his father very much to visit. __________________
