Had an awesome time at my Surprise Birthday party! it was so nice to see friends and to catch up. It has been so long.

Hope everyone is staying safe.

I can't believe this Friday marks 15 years of modding the Roswell board! I became a MOD on 05-14-2006!

Ironically it's the date when Roswell series final aired on May 14,2002.

Wow where has the time gone? I love being a MOD of this board so much and being here at Fan Forum! Here is to 15 more!

Majandra and Brendan are officially attending the UFO Festival 2021 July 2-July 5th in Roswell NM and they are doing some exclusive mini events for fans.

There are fun events planed, and the two actors are putting some private events and mini experiences for the “dans” and “candy” fans together, that are not officially affiliated with the festival as well.

Majandra and Brendan will be attending UFO Fest 2021 in Roswell, NM.

The festival itself runs from July 2-5th.

Majandra and Brendan will be there from the 1st-3rd mc’ing the opening ceremonies on the 2nd and with meet and greet (TBD by the festival) on the 3rd. Brendan will also be teeing it up for the golf tournament in the morning on July 3rd.

BUT WAIT!!! Brendan and Majandra in Roswell?! FOR REAL? They couldn’t help but put together some private events and mini experiences for the “dans” and “candy” fans. Here’s what we are offering (*not officially affiliated with the festival)

OPEN GROUP EVENTS
JULY 1st (location TBD but after the opening ceremonies at around 8:30pm) – an open group event where we may screen Brendan’s previously unreleased movie “ONLY I…” or play bingo. Who knows? But we will confirm. The cost is $125 and that is for a limited edition hat, shirt and photo (designed by Brendan). Legally the screening is free but you have to buy the swag to get in.

JULY 2nd (location TBD, time 8pm-ish) – the second of our open group events. We will rewatch the pilot of Roswell followed by Q&A. This is $125 for a limited edition hat, shirt and photo. And again, the screening is “free” but you’re required to buy the merch to get in.

***If you wish to attend both events, it’s only $200 (and no, you don’t get 2 hats and 2 shirts, etc.).***

MINI EXPERIENCES
***Availble from July 1st-3rd***

There are also mini experiences you can schedule with them from the 1st to the 3rd. Breakfast, lunch or dinner? Spacewalk? Play cards? Grab a coffee or beer with two of them? Let’s do it. These experiences are $350 per (min. 3 people, max depending on activity. 1 hr. min.). Go grab your friends and chow down on some green chile hot dogs with these #saladtossers. The number of these we can do are limited. If you want to be apart of one but are solo or just another dynamic duo, we can join you with others to make it happen.

And here’s the deal, this $350 gets you the swag (and a meal) but it also gets you into one of the group events for free. It also gives you a discount for the second group event at $50.

So for $400, you can eat with Brendan and Majandra, or go for a walk, grab a coffee and attend both open group events and get the swag!

I wanted to go to Austin so bad for the 15 year reunion but I was already going to my college reunion. Ironically I was going with friends who got me into Roswell. So it was full circle.

I know a group from Fan Forum went to Austin and had an amazing time! Nick even showed up to one of the fan dinners.

I hope a group goes to Roswell New Mexico for the event. I can't wait to see photos and to hear the stories.

Got my first doze of vaccination this week

Yes! So excited and happy for you!

How do you feel?

My first does I didn't feel anything a slight headache and sore arm that was it.

Second dose I had a headache and by body ached then in 24 hours I was fine.

My advice is to drink tons of water and rest.

The next day of the vaccination my arm was super sore and I had a difficult time at work, since I had to carry loads of plates, but it eased up pretty quickly.

Next dose isn't till October though! I am a bit scared of that to be honest, I've read a lot of really scary experiences!

Aw you will be fine. I was nervous as well. Drink your water and rest up and you should be ok!

I figure a little side affects from the vaccine are better then getting COVID!

I have not worried about getting Covid myself, since I think I would probably only have a really mild version, since I am young and healthy, but I just want this to be over with. We are headed to worse direction again, and the restrictions are getting tighter. I just want things to get back to normal already

I agree! I am so sick of the restrictions as well. Right now I am trying to enjoy the social life while I can but with in reason.

I hope we don't have another lock down again.

Praying everyone stays safe. I had a really good friend Gerry die of COVID last year. He was in his 40's and in great shape. However we didn't know a lot about the disease a year ago and the vaccine was not out. I miss him. His poor family and wife. Gerry did so much and touched so many lives. He was a PT nurse and did charity work to help kids in need.

Praying the vaccines work and that this can be over soon.

I am so sorry for your loss

I've been lucky on that end, I don't even know anyone who have had the disease. I count my blessings on that account.

I really do hope the vaccines work. There isn't much evidence yet that they would though
