I like to think that Max is a doctor, and Liz is maybe teaching in college? but they totally live happily and far from the eyes of the FBI.

Actually hadn't thought of it like that, but with Max's "healing" powers, and if Liz was a science wiz...Max was in her classes, so he might have although a doctor I don't know. But he never really was focused on his future, since he probably didn't know if he would be around to enjoy it....Actually hadn't figured out a plan for his career...
In my fanfiction, one right now is posted on Roswell Fanatics - he's a lawyer. But in another, he's a teacher... I always figured Liz became a doctor. Maria could do something in the arts. But if on the road, they had to make ends meet for while. I could have seen Liz, Maria and Michael seeking employment in a diner. I could also see Max and Michael are private investigators... since in "Crash" they got or Michael did, the truth behind the downed plane. It's interesting... __________________

But then as a fanfiction writer, It's hard to give happy times before it gets complicated! I guess too many year watching soap opera's has brainwashed into angst. I really could see Max and Michael teaming up as investigators. I totally see Michael as a investigator. As they did like the feeling of helping the pilot and his daughter in "Crash". Doing good. Using their powers for positive...
But Liz definitely would find something in science in the short-term. If they could reach a situation where she could continue her education and yet keep their fugitive status... Yeah, being a teacher might work... __________________
