Totally agree with what you all are saying.

I remember being at the Zeke Lerner Celebrity Bowl A Thon in 2004 Nick and Brendan were there.

I rememeber talking to Brendan a little bit at the event his wife was there somehow we got on to the topic about Roswell and he was telling me how he wanted to visit the real Roswell with his wife.

I remember thinking wow that was a total change from what I heard how the cast was just tired and wanted Roswell to be finished.

I think the cast looked back and the one thing that helped them fall in love with Roswell was the fandom. We were such a special fandom.

Nick and Brendan were so relaxed at the BAT and were so happy to see the fans there.

I think it was the Roswell fans who stuck by them eyars later that they found so touching.

I also think the cast also truly loved the story of Roswell. I mean the over all core of the story.

Studios had a different look for Roswell. It was only going to last one season before Smallville was ready. When we got season 2 a lot of season 1 writers were let go. Hence crazy storylines and different direction from the studio. Roswell was gong ot be cancelled.

The fans fought to get Roswell on UPN (Remember even the WB let go of Buffy)

We got Roswell on UPN totally new network and new set of writers.

Roswell was like high school freshman year everything is new and exciting. Sophmore year everything is fimilar and fun. Junior year you are upper classman and the work begins more tests more drama.

By Senior year you know the school and the ins and outs you are getting ready to leave but still have a lot of work to do. Drama can unfold and pressure builds up and all you want to do is graduate and leave. You cry knowing the 4 years happened way to fast and will cherish the memories.

Look at the amount of photos Shiri took on set it is like looking at a high school yearbook when she posts them! She must of known the show and the cast were special!

Roswell was the same way as high school. In the end it was crazy but it was all worth it! the cast is still close today and they loved being apart of that show!

Yeah, I think it's about not realizing they had something good. And it happens a lot when we are young, so the actors weren't different from us.

I think it's a miracle that show lasted for 3 years. It had so much against it. Being cancelled after 13 episodes in season 1, if I remember well. Being cancelled after season 1. Being renewed for season 2 but with new writers and a new direction and trying to copy Buffy for the sex-appeal. Being cancelled after season 2 only to be saved and shipped to UPN while they all wanted it to end and had to be forced to come back.

The Roswell fatigue. I think it touched everyone, the writers, the actors and even us, the fans. At the end of season 3, it was useless trying to save it, especially since there was a new teen show with aliens, Smallville, which was a huge hit.

Roswell managed to make it that far thanks to us, the fans.

You have no idea! Between the shipper wars, the constant threat of cancellation, the waiting game for renewal or not renewal, having to work to save it with the Save Roswell campaigns….

Now I Don't like to Watch new shows BECAUSE of Roswell. I'm scared to get into a show, only for it to be cancelled without an ending.

Aww, Mag I totally understand. They cancelled Veronica Mars in a rapid and similar way, despite fan protests. As a result, the final episode was left on a cliffhanger.

It sucks when shows get cancelled. My sister's still mad that Ringer was cancelled + I think only one season of it had aired


The art reminds me of how much I loved Majandra's hair in S2 I know it was extensions, but they really suited her.

And oops sorry - I was talking about Imposters, it was such a good show They tried to get it saved but Netflix passed. A real shame.

Oh the Pretender I loved that series as well!

Look at how Angel was cancelled on a cliffhanger as well.

I never watchd Imposters but it looked like an interesting plot.

At least, had Roswell been cancelled for good after season 2 or season 3, we would have had some form of closure. But for some shows, it's just . Thank god that there will be a 4th season for Lucifer because where it ended in season3, oh my god!
