Oh yeah!! Since it is Stargate, they do have some crossover episodes, but MOSTLY it's on it's own and it's AWESOME!!

eta - well, I just did some more searching and also watched the original movie trailer. I'll be picking up the dvd soon. __________________

The movie that started it all star Kurt Russell as Jack O'Neill and James Spader as Daniel Jackson. Then the series started. after SG-1 ended there were two movies after it, Ark of Truth, and Continuum. Then of course Stargate Atlantis started between the seventh season. and finally Stargate universe. If you are a fan of Robert Carlyle from OUAT, or any fo this movies, then you'll enjoy him in SGU As Nicholas Rush.

Darn, I didn't know Stargate et al has an active Campaign.
I would of course be thrilled if a re-watch was done here but I'd understand if everyone would rather have it at the Request board. But ftr, I personally won't have time to keep up over there.  __________________

Do you think it should have a full board at this point? The franchise appears to have played out and there won't be anything to generate new interest and fans in the future.
If the  Stargate fandom would like to have a permanent home and add threads to this board - characters, relationships, etc., I think we could work that out.  __________________
