Yeah, I identified with him a lot. He was a great character, very well written (at least in the original six Dragonlance books, anyway).

Yeah, I identified with him a lot. He was a great character, very well written (at least in the original six Dragonlance books, anyway).

Gandalf was a white supremacist bigot, hence the whole "Gandalf The White" thing and his prejudices against balrogs and orcs.

And how do you explain sauruman the white?

Saruman was a member of the KKK. And Gandalf was probably a tad more moderate in his views when he was grey.

You know rachel, I was kinda upset about that. I liked radagast. I got even madder when I learned that they had filmed him, but didn't even put him in the extended editions.

I'm holding out that the extended extended editions may yet have him.
