Maybe it's because I live near the city and we don't get as cold as some places, but then.. if I lived in Queensland where its like basically never cold.. it would be another story. That's like living in Florida.
Oh boy, I bet is is cold if you're used to those temperatures! But for us it would be like spring/fall

How many books did you buy, April?

Is there such a thing as too much money spent on books?

5 books. Came up to $80, still had a gift card with $17 or so on it. So I should of only spent $65ish, but I got talked into getting their discount membership so my total came back to $20.

I got:

Iced by KMM (since I still don't have an actual copy)
Into the Dreaming by KMM
Beauty Awakened by Gena Showalter
Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
delirium stories by Lauren Oliver (has all 3 short stories)

Came up so high because the two KMM were hardbacks and they tend to be expensive. Iced-$27 Into the Dreaming-$20, and Outlander though it's a very thick trade paperback and almost as sturdy as a hardback was $17

That's not high, at least to me.. since most books I buy range between $12-20 anyway.

I guess not. I was debating on whether I should of brought the delirium stories one. I have Hana on my Nook and I'm sure I could get the other two on there. But I figured it would complete my collection and very rarely do you have a book that has all the short stories in that series.

It was like 90 today. I had wanted to hang out by the pool and read but that didn't happen. My friend just had a baby so I went up to the hospital for a few hours. So adorable. I have a cold sore and I don't think I should really lay out in the sun with one.

I have a cold sore too, but it's going away. It's either that or a blister.

You might be excited summer is on the horizon.

I hate cold sores. I used to get them all the time and they would get big. They aren't as bad as when I was little but still...sometimes I get them back to back or even two at a time.

Yes! If my schedule continues to stay like it has I won't be able to do anything.

Well the shift I work is 3pm-11pm so leaves really no time to really do anything. And I've been working all weekends lately.

These last two weeks I've been having Monday and Wed off. Boring!

Hard to do that when I tend to sleep till around noonish and I have to get ready at 2pm.

what's wrong with having Monday and Wed off? At least it is days off.

True. But they are boring days. Plus majority of my family have weekends off and with it being summer working weekends all the time I don't get to hang out with them or go to the river, etc.
