It started off fine, although I needed to leave for a while to avoid too much socialising. I got very irritated with my drunk mother by the end of the day though.

I haven't been to the shops yet. I would like to get half price wrapping paper for next year though.

what a year it has been. hmm...i think about getting my best friend a gift to cheer up a bit. one of them has been going through hell with covid (both colleagues and the clients) at work. she works for a hospital, specifically a supervised apartment for teens struggling with mental health issues.

I was with friends last night, and someone made a joke seemingly at me, and I got upset in front of everyone, which was not very nice! Not a good time for my social anxiety to rear its head! I went to bed before midnight, though.

Yeah, we left a link on the archived X-Files forum that there is a thread here! I’ve only met my nephew once, but maybe this Monday I’ll get to see how he’s aged from one week to 3 weeks

I didn’t do anything for NYE, (like usual for me), but my brother and his kids and my parents are all in the house and we plan to have Chinese food for dinner tonight. We are all just totally chilling while its freezing below zero outside.

not a lot happening. i was gonna go out a bit today but i decided to stay home after seeing the temperature at -18

I was back at my library position today, but came home early as no one came along for the session. It's a bit sad. Still I get to go to choir today, looking forward to that!
