It's flu season. And in the northern latitudes, the shorter daylight hours can be depressing.

-6? It's -16C here with a windchill of -34C, and lots of snow. I've had more than enough of winter.

Sorry I've been scarce. Mom fell and is in the hospital waiting for hip replacement surgery.

I'm glad that Australia isn't that cold in the winter, because I'm sure a lot of us wouldn't survive lol. ^ Hopefully your mum starts feeling better soon

Sorry to hear about your mum, Chris. I hope she's on the mend soon. I don't envy you those temperatures! One good thing about the UK is it's warmer than the latitude it's at would suggest. My main problem is those short days, though, and the dark days which feel like the sun hasn't come up at all.

Anyone doing anything this weekend? We're going to a restaurant tomorrow night.

well, the episodes are 20mins long each and I sometimes skip boring scenes, but it was around two seasons I watched.

Went out for a family meal tonight which was filling and very nice!
