Well I've just spent all day gardening. All four of us have been tiding up the front garden whch has been neglected for a long time and has stuff to clear away as well ivy and brambles to remove. I also bought a hedge trimmer so it all looks neat now. Just need to get rid of all the debris tomorrow.

Good for you Claire! Hubby is in charge of hedge trimming here, and he really likes the trimmer.

Did some laundry and groceries today. Housework is on the agenda for tomorrow.

It is rather strange that here it is 9/23rd and it is 87 F here on the east coast in the US and it would have been nice to go jump in the pool if not we closed up the pool back on 9/2. Heck we are still using air conditioning , that should have stopped by now.

It was warm over the weekend here, but cooler and wet today.

My husband did use the trimmer, Chris. He cut the wire and to repair it too. I can't laugh too hard, though as I broke our broom yesterday, when we were removing all the garden rubbish. My husband had to repair that too.

Here too. We've had some record setting days, but are supposed to be back to more seasonal temperatures tomorrow.

I went for a massage this morning. It was quite relaxing.

That's incredibly tragic, I can't imagine having to deal with that.

I think it must have been a relief in the end, not having to see them suffer longer.

Wow. I have no words, but agree that watching your children suffer would be torture.

Rainy day here. Think we're going out of town to do some shopping. Tomorrow is supposed to be nicer, so might go to a fall fair.

It's been rainy here today, too.

Had my son's friend over for the weekend, and we've had a fun and busy time!

Sounds like an interesting weekend.

We did go to the fair yesterday. There were some interesting exhibits. Bought some fudge.

I love fudge! My favourite is the Devonshire clotted cream fudge!

It was good. We tried an escape room. It was so much fun! We didn't get out in the 60 minute time, but we completed the puzzle and got out soon after. We needed a load of help, but I'm so glad I tried it. I never thought I'd enjoy something like that so much!
