I tend to use a fan at night year round. The background noise and circulating air help me sleep.

Really? I have to turn my heater off at night even if it is cold because I can't stand the noise

Really? We have electric baseboard heaters and they don't make any noise. I prefer it on the cool side to sleep though. I like to snuggle under the covers.

Me three. However it's always the one day that I really crave peace and quiet that a neighbour will decide to do something noisy like redo the roof, or cut down a tree.

I live next to a train line, but I'm so used to that sound I rarely hear it
