Still got one more episode. After Friday I should be set. From what I've heard...I might go crazy.

Hopefully Syfy will air s3 along side with ShowCase.

They will that is why it's not airing till January, if Syfy hadn't bribed showcase or whatever they have done it would be airing now or in a few weeks -_- now we have to wait 3 more months.

It's not smart it's annoying and really pissing alot of people off, the only people who aren't annoyed by this are people who are watching it on SyFy.

Which is how a lot of people are watching the show/know about the show. From twitter and different sites I've noticed a boost of viewers since it started airing in the US.

It may be annoying to us, because we have been watching as it airs in Canada, so we're ahead. But I can understand them wanting to follow with the US, since April said.. I feel its popularity has grown since its been airing on SyFy.

I work with webmetrics and for a while know, just for fun, I have been tracking fandom activity. I have to say, I didn't really feel much difference. the vast majority of those 1M viewers are casual viewers. you can easily keep up with live tweets just as you do when it airs in canada which is something you absolutely can't do with other hit US shows. and you get much more traffic in its canadian run - because that is when international folks watch it as well.

I don't think it's a smart move and showcase constantly pandering to syfy is worrysome. there was already a press release announcing a fall premiere. until syfy commissioned season 3 and announced a winter premiere, of course. they held back S3 promotion because of syfy, too. we have been waiting for something for 6 months that US viewers are going to get it in weeks. and the cast not talking about S3 at fanexpo was simply ridiculous. showcase is going to have to work really hard to keep fans interested for another 4 months. think of S2 promotion times 2. it is no wonder yesterday was the last day of shooting S3 and they had 30 journalists on set.

Sorry, but that's a load of toss. How many more fanforum viewers have started watching the show because of it airing on Syfy? I've counted 2 people, that's it. Everyone else had already seen season 2 when it originally aired in Canada. Go look at IMDB, there's hardly anyone posting on the LG board and the ones that are had already seen the episodes prior to Syfy.

Also almost everyone who has watched season 2 has talked about how bad it was. I think there'll be plenty of viewers that won't even continue watching the show. Unless ratings improve for season 3 on Syfy, they'll drop it anyway.
