WTF. I think you need to convert her!

There was a few changes, but it didn't impact the movie too much. I did notice they put in the whole D11 rebellion on Rue's death in the movie.. I guess it sets up for it to happen later.

I loved

Yes.

I have no clue how or why she's on Team Gale. She still has to read the last book so maybe that will change her mind?

I'm kinda Team Gale too. Though to be fair, I think the triangle detracts too much from the real story anyway.

Get back on Team Peeta.

At least it wasn't a big triangle like on some of these shows.

Yes, that's true

Spoiler:

I liked some of the scenes we got that weren't in the book, since it was only told from Katniss POV

I liked the parts we didn't see in the books too. I really did like Ceaser.

Okay, so I just got back from watching it and overall I was pretty pleased with how it turned out on the screen.

Of course they had to change a few things and some of them I'd have loved to see, but it can't be helped

Glad you liked it. Time's freed up a little for me, so I'll probably see it this week.

I liked them. It's only natural there would be a few changes, but I don't think it impacted the movie in a bad way. I liked that we got to see scenes that weren't in the book.

Overall I think they did a pretty good job with transferring the book to the big screen. Given the length of the movie as it is (2.5 hours), I doubt there was too much room for explain things further by leaving in more scenes from the book. I mean they basically had to establish the whole 'world' and show us the actual games in a relative short time. I think with the changes they did everyone will be able to get the story without having to read the book previously, which of course is a major concern when it comes to book adaptations.
