Part of it was that the body paint was making her sick. She would be in it for hours and hours at a time, and in some episodes, she would be FULLY covered.

Plus she had to keep shaving her head, and all that. It would get tiresome after a while.

I love studying the detail on her head. It must have taken a long time to paint it on.

The pattern on her head was probably mostly done with stencils and airbrush work, but yeah, I would not want to be in that position to be head to toe body painted.

Rygel is hilarious!! Most of the time you wanna duct tape his mouth shut for the things that he says !LOL! But OMG!! He is one of the best comic reliefs on the show! haha!

I was excited to see this thread! I love this show soooooo much, even though I didn't discover it until long after the show had gone off the air!!!! It's got everything I love in terms of great science fiction, including thoughtful consideration of the human condition and what it means to be able to form connections with others.

I was just rewatching the heart-breaking scene when Moya's crew are forced to offer up Aryn's body to be buried/frozen in Die Me, Dichotomy. I love that scene, and I particularly love the Agnus Dei from that scene. Does anyone know who composed that music? It was so haunting. It was absolutely perfect for that scene and felt like something that I'd love to have played for the funerals of everyone I've ever loved, but I haven't been able to find out, via a quick google, who wrote it, and it doesn't sound anything like Guy Gross's typical stuff....
