Indeed, it never occured to me to question the validity of his anger and feelings of betrayal.
But there's a grown-up, professional reaction to something like this and then there's the reaction Mr Tarantino chose to have. And he did choose his reaction. He could have very well shelved the project without feeling the need to air out the reasons in such a public manner. Creators change plans all the time. No, he wanted to punish the world for his feelings of hurt. And, again, I think those feelings are legitimate. I just don't think he's expressing them in a particularly productive way. __________________

Justin Bieber is such an A**hole I really want to see him locked in jail. After he got out of jail, he went on a few radio and talk shows disrespecting the judge and the police. It's like he thinks he's above the law because he can afford the best lawyers and any bail they throw at him. I hate disrespectful people. Like how he egged his neighbors house because he's young and has no strong parent figure to say "hey, you're rich, use it right".

Can't say it's much of a surprise, is it? He's been working towards getting himself arrested for a solid year now. __________________

Could easily be that he's even 'proud' of the fact...

He totally flaunts all of this because he can afford to fight it all....celebrities are treated on such a higher level than normal people. If I went out and egged my neighbors house, I'd be arrested for destruction of property. This kid is just another teenage celebrity on the fast track for a breakdown ala Lindsey Lohan, Miley Cryus, etc...

I just watched CNN attempting to report on this "story."
I guess it's a sign that there isn't much to say when they spent the whole time talking about whether or not viewers should be given control over what is considered "breaking news" on CNN. The common denominator with those other people, especially Lindsay Lohan, is quite clear, isn't it? Parents who treat their kids as friends rather than the children they are. __________________

Do you guess Justin Bieber wiill get deported from the U.S. now that the petition has enough signatures on it?

The signatures don't denote action being taken other than an acknowledgment by Obama. He won't be deported for this. However, I would like to see him in jail and not get special treatment and roughed up a bit...not hurt or anything (badly at least). The little brat needs to be brought down a few pegs and learn to respect others. What amazes me is how loyal his fanbase is when he's clearly nothing but an overpaid, under talented douchebag.

All the signatures mean is that the U.S. government has to respond.
It doesn't carry policy-making power. But, Matt, it seems like you might get your wish: Justin Bieber faces assault charge after alleged altercation with limo driver. He surrendered to police and was released two hours later. Trial is set for March. __________________

He's successfully managed to do away with his dear-little-boy image, he can stop it now...

Rob Ford has defended Justin Bieber in a radio interview today. Justin Bieber turned himself into authorities yesterday & is being charged with assaulting a limo driver. Ford has been accused of having his sister's ex-boyfriend beaten in jail to keep him quiet about his past drug use.
Almost forgot we need a new thread title. __________________

I don't know if you guys are old school wrestling fans, but Rowdy Roddy Piper and I were tweeting each other last night about ways to teach Justin Bieber respect. Too funny.

Rowdy Roddy Piper does not ring a bell for me, but it sounds very close to the name of the guy who used to do the "Come on down" stuff on The Price is Right, no?
The truth is, much as I don't think very much of Justin Bieber (by which I mean that he literally occupies zero percent of my time), the "real" charges here aren't very much. The drag racing has apparently been debunked, so we're left with being drunk, possibly being high, and certainly assaulting a limo driver. These are all honest charges and I don't mean to minimize them. I'm just saying no one's been seriously hurt yet. Which means this could just be the little twerp's attempt at getting himself an "adult" image. You know, Miley twerks, Justin... becomes a low-life. __________________

Sunny, I think that's precisely what Justin was trying to achieve, a bad-boy imagine.
And what he's done were definitely relatively modest breaches of law yet. But driving under the influence of alcohol and other drugs can easily and quickly lead to more dramatic events, let's not forget that. Quote:
