Well, to put it nicely. You can understand why he was hesitant at first for doing them. He's said how he doesn't like going to the big San Diego ones. __________________

 Gosh could you imagine? I don't blame him for feeling that way. Comic Con is a monstrosity, that's the whole rest of the industry there, not just television or comic fans. I don't think I'd like being there myself. |

I mean, I wouldn't have minded the experience of attending the Smallville panels for the last two years of the show that Tom attended, 'cause that would have been awesome, so long as I was as close to the stage as possible. One of my favourite moments from watching those panels on youtube is when this girl asked Tom a question and asked him if he could make his answer kinda long so he could keep looking at her. Everyone's reaction and Tom's response was golden. She was my hero.
Even I couldn't muster up that much courage when I met him. It was all I could do to keep myself together and be calm around him lol. But yeah, other than that I far prefer to attend smaller conventions where it's a bit more intimate and less overwhelming. __________________
