I will say I had a good time watching the S3 podcast for "Obsession" because of how obvious it is that Tom could have chemistry with a rock. All his costars, Sarah included, got along with him and it came across on screen.

LOVED it. My gosh, Sarah Carter hasn't aged a day. I loved Alicia. She may have been crazy, but I liked her redemption and it sucked how she was killed off in the next episode Pariah. She may have promised to Clark that she would keep his secret, but showing Chloe was the best thing that happened to the Chlark friendship. And she may have drugged Clark with Red K, but it doesn't make him unable to make his own decisions, just loses his inhibitions, like Martha points out to him. I love that scene with Martha disappointed in Clark. It's interesting that Clark crying wasn't scripted.

I loved how Michael thought that this episode had too much "sex" lol. Just as well Smallville wasn't a HBO show lol. The Clark and Alicia scenes were tame compared to some of the shows on that channel. I mean, yeah, that scene with them in Vegas was long but it was pretty hot. And it didn't involve any gratuity.

It was cute how Tom and Sarah recognised each other in the store from a few years ago when they both wore masks during covid.

Agreed on all fronts! Clark and Alicia had something special even if it was broken and pretty toxic logistically and that's due to how well Tom and Sarah got along for sure. I also loved how Tom pointed out that Annette made him feel like her son in that moment. I would've cried too if my work mom was that disappointed in me.

We will always have Alicia to thank for unlocking Chlark's true friendship potential and deepening their bond for the rest of the show. It made it even better that Chloe never outed him herself, just waited in the wings for him to catch up. Good stuff.

Yeah, I always liked how Chloe handled it, she let Clark tell her in his own time, well, until she followed him into the fortress and told him she knew.
