Yeah even though most of the times she's good at hiding her more gentle side.
You can tell at times that she tries to guard her heart and that's why she is the way she is at times.

I can't wait to re-watch 9.01... I'm going to re-watch it with someone (who never watched it) sometime this week.

Can't wait to see how Clark looked at Lois when he rescued her from the train.

Season 9 will always be one of my favorite seasons because of Clark FINALLLLLLYYY growing up. I mean it only took nine years.

He was but I felt the situations that he went through should have matured him up faster.

Sometimes in life, age doesn't mean a thing depending on the lifestyle.

If I was writing, he would have matured right after Jonathan's death... he actually took a step back.

Season 9 Clark should've been Season 6 Clark to me.

Move on, stop focusing on triangle, worry about saving the world.

Probably my opinion is a bit clouded by what I've seen the other versions of Superman did but I guess SV's Clark isn't Superman yet so ... yeah.

He had to have time to grieve over Jonathan's death. I don't think he took a step backwards at all. Yes, S6 may have been focussed far too much on the Clexana triangle, but he did grow a little. He certainly was determined to make sure he tracked down and put away all the Phantoms he accidentally let escape from the Phantom Zone. That was most important to him since they were killing innocent people. It was just that whole thing with Lana was keeping him from being who he really wanted to be. If he did mature that much by S6, the show would have ended in 2008 and that would have sucked.

It may have been a tough long journey to Superman, but as soon as he got there the show had to end. It was always about the journey.
