Well, I won't lie that it's a bit of a rocky ride for them in S8 and S9, but there are some good moments between them as well. And well, you'd be sorry to miss out on how much even more gorgeous Tom gets in those seasons.  Not to mention how Clark grows as a character and hero.__________________

Well, how can it not?!
 Also, Tom became a co-executive producer in S9 and S10 as well as directing a couple more episodes. So he had more input into the show's production.__________________

Randomly thinking of some of my favorite Clark moments...
I still really love the end of "Dichotic" -- it's a nothing burger of an episode aside from some good JTT and a bit of sfx but the implications of Clark standing up for his romantic autonomy in the scene with Chloe and Lana was incredible. And it technically never happened again. I was not expecting him to just come out with "since I never dated either of you"  it was a real zinger and he wasn't wrong! Shout out to the A-Ha song before the credits as well. SV had so many bangers.  |

Yeah, the way he stood up for himself there was kinda surprising but really good for him.
The music choice on Smallville was spot on. I have a playlist of a hundred songs that were played on the show in order on my iTunes. __________________

That was a great use of an awesome song.
I always liked the use of Matthew Good's song Weapon in the S2 finale Exodus. That song gives me more chills.__________________

True true true! Matthew Good Band was so underrated and I was always sad they broke up. I first heard them on a show from back in the day, Higher Ground.
Another great Canadian band that SV featured, Our Lady Peace, has a song called "Made of Steel". I kinda wish that had been on the show for a Clark scene instead of the one they used. |

The only song I know of theirs is Weapon.
I had been meaning to look up more of their music. Smallville introduced me to a lot of songs/music I probably wouldn't have downloaded before.__________________
