There are definitely still a lot of SV fans out there, a lot of it due to a great cast, (I think they were all brilliant) and good writing

Good writing…for the most part.
 There was some stuff that got a little frustrating. But that doesn't detract it as an awesome show, far from it. __________________

Oh there were many things I had found frustrating...especially when it came to Lana's storyline, the way it ended. And Lex, he was my favorite char, towards the end it was painful to watch what they did to him. Even Clois, in later seasons, though I loved (and still love) them much, at points were turning too lovey dovey reminding me of Clana. But that was a detail that perhaps has to do with my taste. Overall I still loved the show and my ship very much.
