^ I haven’t decided on a favorite ship yet. I like Clark with Lana, with Chloe and with Lex. I enjoy all their moments
1.06 Hourglass was another interesting episode. Favorite scenes: The one at the restaurant when Harry mentions it’s where young people congregate. The intense vision at the cemetery with all Clark’s loved ones dead and buried. How the knife broke into dozens of pieces when Harry tried to stab Clark. Lex in the sunflower field killing all life with his hand. I found it pretty powerful. __________________

I really liked 'Hourglass,' especially the story premise itself.
The visions were shocking and telling, with the element of foreshadowing. BTW, was this the ep where the man in the wheelchair falls into the water? __________________

Hourglass was an interesting episode. The scene with Lex and the blind woman, whose name I can't remember, is chilling. Especially the shot of Lex dropping the flowers and running out of the room. Also the vision of future Lex was a wonderful parallel to the AU Lex we saw in Apocalypse (the gem of an episode directed by the talented Tom). __________________

Thanks, I figured it was that one.
The blind lady was an eerie character and brought an interesting twist to the story. I really like seeing parallels between episodes. __________________

Another episode tonight!
1.07 Craving I've seen this episode before, but liked it the second time even better. I wish losing weight was so easy I wouldn't drink the green stuff, though I love the scene where Clark almost reveals one of his abilities in front of Lana and then quicky covers up his slip up. And his offer to be her escort to the B-party was cute Poor deer Cool how Clark bent the tube in the boiling room I totally loved the scene between Lex and Lana before the party. He took care of Whitney The ending scene was perfect, with the movie and snacks and everything. __________________

Ooh, I really liked 'Craving.' Even though watching that drink concoction being mixed in the blender nearly made me gag. However, I got past it and thought it was a very good episode. Interesting to see Amy Adams as a guest star, before she was a well-known actress.

^ I've seen her in Cruel Intentions 2 before I saw her on Smallville. I had no idea she was famous until I checked her imdb profile --> she was nominated for 2 Oscars
ETA: 1.08 Jitters My first thought as I started watching was --> hmm, parents out of town, things should get interesting A small gathering, the key word being small The whole level three thing reminded me of The x-files. I don’t much care for experimental labs and such. Lex/Lionel moments were awesome. Great acting on both parts. __________________

Craving had to be the single most icky SV episode from s1. It is a hoot to see Amy Adams pre-Hollywood days though. I did enjoy the Lex/Lana scene at her party, it was a nice moment when he really understood how she felt about her own party and it was nice for Lex to find some relatable ground with some one.
I loved Jitters -- I liked Earl (that was his name right?) a lot and the whole 'party' thing which got out of control was a nice touch of reality for Clark especially since he longs to be normal. The funniest part of that episode had to be when he is superspeeding around trying to clean up the kitchen and he turns around when he hears clapping! I loved Clark's face when he saw his parents standing at the bottom of the stairs. __________________

^ for me it was quite the opposite. I didn't like Jitters and couldn't sympathize with Earl at all. I found the guy totally selfish. I know he couldn't control his movements when the attack hit...but he always grabbed someone and hurt them. Even at the end, Clark told him to leave and he just had to stay behind and then grab the railing --> which almost cost Lex and Clark their lives.
The speedy cleaning scene was cool I wish I could clean that fast. __________________

Still Jitters to this day, for me at least has one of the most heartbreaking Lex scenes during his s7 year run -- when he watches Jonathan and Martha hug Clark; overjoyed he's okay and Lex looks on longingly; comparing that to the coldness/fake hug and relief Lionel displays with Lex. The way that scene is shot -- the contrast in the tangible emotions from the Luthor side and the Kent side; and also how MR plays that scene, the look on Lex's face. There have been many other heartwrenching moments we see from Lex's past but that.. that "reunion" in Jitters perfectly captures the father/son relationship. __________________

And here's a little update: 1.09 Rogue The beginning of this episode was way too cool. The moment when Clark stopped the bus with his shoulder was awesome. I loved the little homeless dog The Sam Phelan character is quite interesting. He’s a bit like Lex in his arrogance and shrewdness. What is it with Clark and plaid shirts? Dead man in the barn! The bullet scene in the museum was perfect. It was a bit like Matrix. I loved it. __________________

'Jitters' wasn't one of my favourite early episodes. I loved the contrast between the Kent's and the Luthor's at the end, though.
Yes, that bus-stopping moment in 'Rogue' is classic SV awesomeness. __________________

I loved loved Rogue. I really wish Phelan had stuck around -- he was such an intriguing character. ITA, Katka -- the bullet scene was so awesome. I loved Clark's face as the bullet comes towards him and then bounces off him. Tom played it perfectly

Tom's become very good at visualizing things that aren't really there (i.e. special effects) when he's acting.

^ ITA! I'd like to know how that feels. It must look kind of stupid pretending to fight something that isn't really there. Good for Tom for doing such a good job with it
1.10 Shimmer Oh my half naked Clark and Pete just made my day! I loved the scene in Victoria’s bedroom with feathers flying around and messages left on the wall. The black light was cool. Oooh, the almost kiss between Lana and Clark was fun to watch My favorite scene was the one where Lex talks to Clark about his mom and the significance of the watch he lost/Amy stole. Overall I liked this episode very much. I didn’t like Amy though. She was kind of neurotic and her voice bugged me. __________________
