One Thing Remains 08-23-2016 07:07 PM

Thanks guys :). I am so ready to get it back though

Lindsay it will get a little worse before it gets better  around 2.5 to 3 is when they get out of that stage. My son will be 2 at the end of September so he's not too much older than your nephew. That is a great frame of mind to have because they really do grow so fast.

Steph sounds like your nephew has tons of energy

Sarah I hope you had a blast at your Doctor Who experience :). It sounds like fun!

I notice how much my friend's son changes when we meet up.

I had a great time time at the Doctor Who Experience. It was a lot of fun.

albion_princess 08-25-2016 10:48 AM

Good luck with college.

So, he's not going to calm down when he gets a bit older?

I'm finally back from Cardiff. It was great being away and the Doctor Who Experience was really fun, but it's great to be back home again.

fly me to the moon 08-25-2016 07:31 PM

Thanks.. Thank god that I went throughout the day w/ the classes..

Yup, he won't calm unless if he get in trouble just like his uncles (my brothers) or me.. Bec his father is more calm and say out of trouble while one of my bro and me always get in trouble..

Glad to hear that you back to home..

Sarah I'm so glad you had fun :).

Steph glad your first day back at school went great.

Super crazy day for me. So glad tomorrow is Friday :yay:

Steph, yeah. Kids have an on/off button. When they wake up, they want to play right away. :sigh:

Sarah, so envious that you went to the DW Experience! Other than the 12 screwdriver, what else did you get?

Amy, will you be having a party for your son's birthday?

Enjoy your weekend everyone! :pinkie:

albion_princess 08-26-2016 02:18 AM

Yeah, and small seem to have endless energy.

I'm very happy to be home. :)

I hope you get to go one day. It's definitely worth going at least once you're a Doctor Who fan, although being in Cardiff can make it difficult to get here, even if you live in the UK.

Apart from the sonic screwdriver I also got a companion guide.

The only problem was it was too HOT. Other than that it was nice to have some time away from home and do something different.

I wish that there are button so I can mute them even tho I be like no, I seriously need to sleep longer bec the last time he made LOT of noise by banging all the stuff and I was like I need stronger coffee..

Sarah, at least you live in the UK so it's more convenient for you to attend events like this. I live in a country where not a lot of cons happen so I would need to travel to go to one. I'm glad you had fun and bought your very first DW screwdriver.

Steph, my sister who has twins is staying over at my mom's because her husband is working abroad (but they'll leave together this November/December to go to Australia). When I slept there one time, I woke up in the middle of the night because of all the crying. The twins are only 5 months old so sleepless nights be had with my mom & sister.

albion_princess 08-27-2016 04:56 AM

That's very true and the trip wasn't too bad. I just need to change trains once.

At least you didn't have to spend too many sleepless nights.

No plans, just taking it easy.

We've also got a Bank Holiday, so I'm back at work on Tuesday. :)

A mute button would be very handy.

fly me to the moon 08-27-2016 05:54 PM

^ Ahh, I don't think I know much about Bank Holiday..

Sarah, how long was the travelling time to Cardiff?

Steph, yeah twins are twice the fun but twice the trouble too. When my sister found out she was having twins, she wasn't ecstatic. Her initial reaction was shock and then realization that she & her husband need to spend twice on everything. :goof:

albion_princess 08-28-2016 07:00 AM

It should have taken just under five hours, but we missed the next train and had to wait an extra half an hour.

I can imagine her being shocked.
