I LOVE Stand By Me and I've watched quite a few times.

It was years before I knew it was based on a Stephen King story, though.

Kids don't seem to get you might need to sleep a little longer.

I don't it completely depressing, but there is one part at the end of the film that makes me a little sad.

I remember watching Stand By Me when I was a kid. I remember it being sad but it's bee so long since I have seen it I forgotten pretty much all of it.

Steph kids have this crazy energy source that they can tap into. My kids never want to sleep in or leave the park either :lol:

The battery in my laptop went bad so we took into the Apple Store. It's a non-removable battery so they have to take half the computer apart to change it out. That requires shipping it out to another location and it will be 3-5 business days before we get it back :blank: I hope it's only gone 3 days because posting from an iPad is kinda a pain

Amy, my nephew is just 18 months. There are days when my patience is wearing thin but really, I guess my mantra is that they won't be kids for long so I just have to make the most out of it. :) 3-5 business days until you get your laptop back? Yikes. But that's understandable because it was shipped to another location.

Steph, usually what I do so that my nephew can fall asleep is, tire him out meaning play with him and take him for a bath. He'll feel refreshed and incite him to take a nap.

^ Awww.. My nephew is close to 22 months even though he look like he's 5 years old, but only way that I can get him tire himself out by give him a bath or have pool in the backyard then gave him the milk, so he can knock himself out.. But once he wakes up, he just want to play.. :lol:
