Wow, congrats to Pam Veasy for a well written episode. Go Pam!
First of all, the two scenes between Mac and Stella, where they talk about Claire? Blew my ****ing mind. WOW! First of all, if Sinise doesn't get an Emmy for his performance in that episode I will stop watching porn as a sign of protest. And trust me, people, you don't wanna be around me when I haven't gotten my daily dose of pornographic glory. I turn into a monster. But back to the episode, wow. Just wow. The fact that Stella started crying in the first scene was a ****ing awesome touch. You can see how much it hurts her to see Mac in pain. It gives you a little glimpse of what they went through together when the towers came down. I'm sorry, but Mac and Stella have moved way beyond Grissom/Catherine, way beyond Grissom/Sara, hell, I don't think Mulder and Scully (the alleged friendship of friendships) had the connection Mac and Stella have. I know it's only been 22 episodes, but I don't believe any other two actors have the chemistry Gary and Melina have. It's mind-blowing. Have they worked together before? And I like the fact that they gave Mac a real motivation for pursuing this case. Horatio never has good motivations, he's a jackhammer. But Mac is so deep... I love this guy! How people find Danny more insteresting than him is beyond me. So if they are indeed pursuing the Mac/Jane ship.... why no scenes between the two? Hey, don't get me wrong, I don't want them to get together, but at this point it seems they're pushing Stella/Jane more than they're pushing Mac/Jane. But at least Jane seemed human last night. But don't take that as an indication that I like you, Jane. I was so hoping in the end Sullivan would give Mac a little mouse that has been alive for 150 years. Or at least put his hands over Mac's nads and take away that nasty pee infection. "My voice is too deep to speak the truth." <--- that was a great line. Anyone else kinda turned on when Stella started talking in Greek? :: That was hot. The baseball case... wow, I think that Boston fan would've gotten more than just a baseball to the stomach. But that's just me. Hawkes is too funny. He's finally getting a distinctive personality. He's geeky, yeah, but so cheeky. I love him. I want one of those. Not enough Flack. The hell? But man did he look hot in that opening scene. Did you notice the way Aiden lit up when Stella walked into the room? Stella/Aiden 4eva!11!!!!one!1shift1 That truck was only going 20 MPH? Jeez, you should see the way truck men drive around here. That woman would've been pulverized. The baseball guy who killed Boston was Puerto Rican. Shout out! Again, great episode. Lots of things going on but they found a way to make it work. I remember thinking there's no way they would be able to pull off three cases in less than an hour, but they did! Again, go Pam! __________________
